Nuclear reactors heat water to make steam, which spins turbines to make electricity. Control rods absorb neutrons to slow or speed up the reaction. Coolant carries heat away from the core.
Goal
Generate 10,000 MW of electricity without letting the core overheat!
Controls
- Control Rods slider: Drag left to withdraw rods and heat up. Drag right to insert rods and cool down.
- Coolant Flow slider: Higher flow removes more heat (uses power)
- SCRAM button: Emergency shutdown -- drops rods instantly
- Keyboard: UP/DOWN adjust rods, LEFT/RIGHT adjust coolant, SPACE = SCRAM
Keep Temperature Between 280C - 310C for Best Power!
Tip: Start by dragging the Control Rods slider to the LEFT to withdraw them and heat the core.
